I have been creating art my whole life. In fact, I cannot remember a time when I did not dream of being an artist. Though I was not considered “good” as a child, I didn’t give up. I went on to learn about oil painting in college and I continue to create today – because art isn’t about starting perfect, it’s about staying dedicated to what you love.
While I work in different mediums, I find a deep connection to graphite drawing. I love how it feels to glide the pencil across paper, watching the smears and lines slowly shade into an image.
